Eighthooks
Meta ad creative for e-commerce brands. Eight hooks in five days, kill seven, scale one.
The problem
An ads agency with a generic site has lost the argument before the first paragraph. If you sell attention, your own page is the work sample. But the honest version of this business has no case numbers yet — so the site had to be convincing without a single statistic.

Decisions worth defending
- 01
The board
Eight ad concepts land on a grid as you scroll, seven take a hand-angled KILLED slash, and the survivor grows to fill the screen while its video plays. The bar counts the real state as it happens: 7 killed · 1 scaling. It is the pitch, executed on you.
- 02
The creative engine
Six spec ads in working Meta ad chrome — play buttons, “Sponsored” labels, formats named honestly (UGC 9:16, hero 1:1, macro 3:4). One plays at a time, by button or hover.
- 03
Blacked-out proof
Three number slots are literally redacted, each with a line explaining exactly how it would be measured. Empty where results would go, rather than borrowed results from somebody else's account.
- 04
Colour as structure
Paper and ink with marigold, vermilion and petrol as full-bleed plates that hard-cut between acts. One expressive face, Bricolage Grotesque, doing all the work.
Why it works
The visitor learns the service by being walked through it, in the order it happens. By the time the CTA arrives, “email three ads and we'll tell you which to kill” is the obvious next step rather than a pitch.
Disclosure. The ad concepts on the board are spec creative made for invented drink brands, and the page says so in the section itself. Nothing on it is presented as client work.
